As you can see Della is doing very well and is in great spirits! These photos were taken Monday August 30, 2004 when we went to lunch and then to have her stitches removed.
She's going home tomorrow, Sept. 9, 2004.
She very much appreciates the cards and messages of love and concern she has received from so many of you.
We are hoping and planning for her to to be at the dedication of our beautiful new Pacific Peaks Center on October 2nd.

UPDATE January 2005
It's been a long difficult recovery despite our high hopes just after Della's surgery. There IS good news to report. She has adapterd to her beautiful "new leg" and on January 19th, 2005 walked 80 feet and up three steps while in her therapy session! This is a very great victory and I am sooo proud of her! There will be both good days and bad days but she is truly on the road back.
