We have 38 Member Organizations, representing 65 national Girl Guide and Girl Scout Associations, which belong to the Europe Region WAGGGS.

Since 1990, 13 new Associations from Central and Eastern Europe have joined the Europe Region and one country is working towards membership.   So the Region now supports Girl Guiding/Girl Scouting and its development in 41 countries throughout Europe.

Where there is more than one National Association providing Girl Guiding/Girl Scouting in a country, these Associations come together to form a Federation which becomes the Member Organization for that country.

Depending on the needs of young people in each country, our Member Organizations offer programmes in a girls-only environment or in a co-educational setting.  In the Europe Region there are merged Associations which have Girl Guides and Boy Scouts as members.
