Juli agrees to take over as  Troop Leader.

Girl Scout Ways Try-It

Peanut/Calendar Sales - Aaryn and Bri are the Top Sellers.

November
Sent Letter Of Hope to New York Fire Fighters  as a result of  Sept. 11th.

Donated $25. to Children of Afghanistan as requested by President Bush.

December
Prepared Thinking Day Postcard for the Exchange.

Participated in The Reading Tree by donating books for disadvantaged children.

Christmas Bowling and Pizza Party.

Chose "RUBY" the butterfly as Troop Mascot to exchange with other troops for "visits".

Post Card Exchange - marked World and U.S. maps  to show places from which  we had received post cards.

Visited by The Daily World and photographed for an article on Girl    Scouting in the area.

Thinking Day Post Card Exchange

Prepared for Thinking Day by learning a French song, making posters of places in France, learning a French hop scotch game called "Snails", having tasting parties of French food, learning about  children in France, and learning some words in French.
        
Made snail magnets, French Flag Pencil Toppers, and beaded blue, white and red bracelets to sell  for the Juliette Low World Friendship Fund.

Represented France in our area Thinking Day event.

Performed  Flag & Candle Ceremonies at our End Of The Year Art and Photo Show for the parents after the pot-luck dinner.  An awards ceremony followed the event.
